About the director:
Lindsay is originally from the UK but has lived in Tenerife for many years. Although she was never involved in the timeshare industry herself, her parents were happy timeshare owners for many years. However, that all changed when the point system got introduced. Her parents got sucked in by the sales pitches and eventually had to re-mortgage their house to pay for the purchases. They stood to lose over GBP50.000.
With Lindsay’s contacts in Tenerife, she vowed to help her parents and finally in 2016 the nightmare ended for her parents. Their contracts got declared null and void and they received the long-awaited refund from their purchases as well as a compensation amount awarded by the judge in Tenerife.
With the knowledge Lindsay had accumulated over the years of helping her parents, she decided to help other people in the same situation.
Lindsay’s Philosophy:
Although she has no legal background, she knows how to get things done. She employs local and knowledgeable lawyers directly on-site. She has learned it is not only about the law, but often “Who you know”. By employing local lawyers, they have that part covered. Often the cancelling of timeshare contract is done “out of court”. Things run smoother when the lawyers already know each other. The “Who you know” philosophy.
Company History:
01/08/2014: Harlow Consultants SL was registered in Spain to deal with the Spanish courts on behalf of Lindsay’s parents. Company number B76644079
24/02/2016: Lindsay´s parents won their case and got awarded a total compensation of €98572.21 by the Spanish courts.
21/03/2016: Harlow Consultants Limited was born on the 21/03/2016. This company was registered in the UK/Wales with company number 10074283.
02/05/2018: Harlow Consultants Ltd was dissolved as 99% of the cases were handled through Spain.
25/08/2021: Harlow Consultants Ltd (Company Registration Number 13585338) got re-registered in the UK due to Brexit to service UK clients more efficiently.
25/08/2021: Gravamen Europe Ltd was registered in the UK to service NON-UK owners.
24/03/2022: Harlow Consultants Ltd changed name to Gravamen Consultants Ltd (same registration number 13585338). Unfortunately, someone used the company name of Harlow Consultants to scam people. We found it easier to change name, than pursue unknown people asking them to stop. Website got changed but not the service. (The old website is still online until all clients are aware of the changes)
29/04/2022: Due to this a new company has been created called Gravamen Management SL (Company Registration Number B10656577) to take over from Harlow Consultants in Spain.
Up to date we have now helped 3826 clients out of their contracts. (Correct on the 20/02/2024)
